In a decisive runoff election, hardline politician José Antonio Kast has secured the top job in Chile.
A Clear-Cut Triumph
After over 99% of polling stations reporting, Kast won 58.17% of the vote, beating leftist former minister Jeannette Jara, who earned 41.83%.
