Note: Revealing details for the third episode of this adventure lie ahead.
The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed
The third episode finished on a huge suspense moment and presented the first table of adventurers who will split off from the central cast to begin their independent quest, separate from the remaining groups.
This warrior group includes the determined fighter (portrayed by Travis), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander (Sam), and Kattigan (the actor).
The Reason for Division
Considering 13 cast members, it was evident from the start that having everyone at the same party would be unworkable.
Hence, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, connecting the personal journeys before dividing into three smaller tables: Warriors, Strategists, and Explorers.
Characteristics of the Warrior Group
According to the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who enjoy a traditionally charged battle-oriented story mode where peaceful solutions are rare.
Initially, characters like the reluctant priest the cleric might look unsuited, but the developments of the third episode show why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the warrior group.
Why They Must Go
First, the group understands precisely where to go next after a brutal initial meeting with the enemy group.
Casimir of the deceased character—whose death kicked off the narrative’s action—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, breaking into the secret base, attacking Thimble, and stealing all the magical artifacts to sell off.
The traitor then settled his liabilities and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, above the urban center, with Teor’s brother close behind.
Personal Motivations
Secondly, each member has a personal reason to leave the city the metropolitan area:
- The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, desires vengeance.
- The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the northern area and cautions that it is a nasty environment.
- The warrior and The cleric, having defied his family’s wishes to execute the target and instead freed him, have no other options.
- However, their status as prominent individuals in the influential clan could assist the team access areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
- Additionally, The grateful character swore a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his deliverance and will now follow him everywhere.
Fugitives
Lastly, all of them are wanted by the powers that control Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making lingering locally no longer safe:
- The rogue and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
- The warrior and Wicander betrayed the influential house and the army of fiends they are allied with.
- Teor is marked for death by the family.
This leaves them few options but to travel to the northern region in pursuit of Casimir.
