Los Angeles witnessed citywide festivities after the Los Angeles Dodgers won a thrilling seven-match World Series title. Fans across the globe united with Angelenos in celebration, marking the first time in 25 years that a team has secured back-to-back championships.
Celebration Parade Draws Massive Crowds
Los Angeles area events included a downtown parade on Monday morning, a reserved-seating event at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties across the city.
Social media videos depict thousands of Angelenos packing downtown streets, many carrying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The team was seen traveling proudly on a open-top bus through the masses, raising the Commissioner’s trophy high.
